Buikwe District, Uganda – Earlier today, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Presidential Candidate, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, accompanied by First Lady Maama Janet Museveni, arrived at New Colony Playground in Buikwe district to address his last campaign rally in the Greater Mukono sub-region.
The event drew a jubilant crowd, with supporters cheering and waving as the candidate made his way to the venue. Senior Party leaders gave a hats-off ovation, underscoring the significance of the rally as the campaign season nears its conclusion.
Museveni’s message centered on the theme of “Protecting the Gains”, a slogan that has defined much of the NRM’s campaign trail. He highlighted the achievements of his government and urged the people of Greater Mukono to safeguard the progress made under his leadership.
The rally marked the culmination of campaign activities in the sub-region, with party officials emphasizing unity and continuity as key pillars for the upcoming election.
