Micro Project Groups in Lweru and Kalagala Parishes Receive Support from LRDP

In a significant move towards empowering local communities, two Micro Project groups in Lweru and Kalagala Parishes, Buikwe District, have recently received support from the Luwero-Rwenzori Development Programme (LRDP). This initiative aims to boost income-generating activities and enable small enterprises to achieve self-sustainability.

The support was officially handed over by Hon. Diana Mutasingwa, who has long been an advocate for community development and economic empowerment. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the community members and local leaders, all keen to witness the positive impact of this initiative.

The LRDP’s support is designed to enhance the capabilities of these micro project groups, providing them with the necessary resources and tools to expand their operations. By focusing on income-generating activities, the initiative seeks to create a sustainable economic environment that benefits not only the individual enterprises but also the wider community.

Hon. Mutasingwa expressed her optimism about the initiative’s potential to transform lives: “This support from LRDP is a game-changer for our micro project groups. It will help them grow their businesses and become self-sustainable, ultimately improving the economic well-being of our communities. We are committed to supporting such initiatives that drive positive change and empower our people.”

The beneficiaries of this support are eager to put the resources to good use and take their enterprises to new heights. The initiative is expected to create job opportunities, improve living standards, and foster a spirit of entrepreneurship in the region.

The Diana Ka Foundation remains dedicated to working with programs like LRDP to uplift communities and create lasting positive impact.
