Hon. Diana recently paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Ambassador Abdulla AlShamsi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Uganda, to discuss areas of mutual cooperation and address pressing issues affecting the Muslim community in Buikwe. The meeting highlighted the growing partnership between Uganda and the UAE and underscored the importance of collaboration in fostering shared progress.
During the discussions, Hon. Diana expressed her appreciation for the UAE’s ongoing support toward Uganda’s development, noting the positive impact of this partnership on various sectors. In particular, Hon. Diana and Ambassador AlShamsi explored ways to address challenges faced by the Muslim community in Buikwe. This dialogue reaffirmed their shared commitment to supporting inclusive development and strengthening community welfare.
