Hon. Diana recently visited Koba Parish in Ssi Bukunja Subcounty, Buikwe, as part of her efforts to monitor the implementation of the Parish Development Model (PDM). During her visit, she underscored the importance of transparency and fairness in service delivery by Parish officials. She reminded the officials and the community that every beneficiary must be treated equally to ensure the success of the program.
Addressing the residents, Hon. Diana emphasized the need for vigilance against fraudsters who might attempt to exploit the program for personal gain. She reassured the community that the PDM is designed to uplift the livelihoods of individuals and families, and its resources must be directed to the right beneficiaries without compromise.
In addition to her message of accountability and equality, Hon. Diana delivered tangible support to the community. Nine villages within the area received chairs and a Parish tent to facilitate their community gatherings. This gesture was warmly received, as it will enhance the organization and functionality of village meetings and social events.
Hon. Diana’s visit left a lasting impact, reaffirming her commitment to equitable service delivery and empowering local communities through the Parish Development Model.
