Hon. Diana Mutasingwa Visits Buwundo Women Group in Najjembe Division

Today was a day filled with hope and encouragement as Hon. Diana Mutasingwa graced the Buwundo Women Group with her presence in Najjembe Division, Lugazi. This vibrant community of over 300 women gathers every Thursday for Bible study, offering each other support and strength through faith and fellowship.

The group is composed of widows, single mothers, and teenage mothers—women who have faced significant challenges but continue to persevere and uplift one another. Their resilience is nothing short of inspiring.

During her visit, Hon. Mutasingwa expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the group’s chairperson, acknowledging the critical role she plays in transforming the lives of these women. “Thank you for the incredible work you are doing in the lives of these women,” said Hon. Diana.

Hon. Mutasingwa’s visit was a reminder of the power of community and the importance of supporting one another through life’s trials. The women of the Buwundo Women Group left the gathering feeling seen, heard, and appreciated, knowing that they have champions like Hon. Mutasingwa in their corner.

As we move forward, let us all take a page from the Buwundo Women Group’s book—fostering community, supporting one another, and finding strength through faith.
