Hon. Diana Mutasingwa, Woman Member of Parliament for Buikwe District and Minister in the Office of the Vice President, had the distinct honour of receiving His Excellency Prof. Kithure Kindiki, Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, during Uganda’s 63rd Independence Day Celebrations held at the historic Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
“Earlier this morning, I had the honour of receiving His Excellency Prof. Kithure Kindiki, Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, who joined us for the 63rd Independence Day Celebrations at Kololo,” Hon. Mutasingwa shared.
The presence of the Kenyan Deputy President underscored the enduring bonds of friendship and regional solidarity between Uganda and Kenya. Hon. Mutasingwa warmly welcomed the visiting dignitary, emphasizing the significance of the occasion in reflecting on Uganda’s journey of resilience and growth.
“It was a pleasure to welcome the Deputy President to this momentous occasion as we commemorate our nation’s journey and shared aspirations for continued unity, progress, and prosperity,” she added.
